COVID-19 Virtual & In-studio Class Protocols
We have put together two thorough guidelines for both virtual classes and in-studio classes as a response to COVID-19. Please read both guides prior to signing up for a class so you are aware of our studio protocols:
Payment
You can purchase spots in our workshops through our website using Stripe (for credit cards).
Stripe is SSL certified (Secure Sockets Layered), keeping your data and credit card information private and secure. SSL Certificates protect other sensitive information such as usernames and passwords etc., as well as keep data secure between servers.
Fees must be paid in full prior to the start date of the class in order to reserve a seat. We do not consider unpaid reservations as a confirmation of your attendance. Your spot will be given to another attendee who has paid in full.
Please do not hesitate to contact us directly at education@paperhousestudio.com if you have any further questions about payments.
Anybody who wishes to withdraw 5 days before the first start date of the class are entitled to a full refund. After this period, no refunds will be issued.
Studio Wear
Please come dressed and prepared to work in a studio space. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
No open toe shoes such as flip-flops. The studio gets very wet and slippery. Wear something with a good grip.
We have limited supply of aprons — you are welcome to bring your own.
Please bring something to tie up your hair if you have long hair.
Registration and Cancellation
Registration will close 3 days prior to the start date of the class to allow the instructor to prepare for the final number of students.
Paperhouse Studio reserves the right to cancel classes 3 days prior to the start date due to low enrolment or emergencies. Full refunds will be given if this were to happen. Students will be informed through email.
Pick-up and Storage
Materials that require drying time can be picked up at the studio starting 4 days after the last day of class. It is up to the class participants to book an appointment with the studio to let us know preferred times for collecting their work. If you are unable to pick up your work and need it mailed, Paperhouse will charge a fee determined on a case-by-case basis.
Paperhouse is unable to indefinitely store any work made in the classes due to limited space and a full educational programme that rotates three times a year. All participants work will be kept in the studio for up to one month. After the one month period, Paperhouse will recycle and/or put the work in their archives for educational and/or promotional purposes. Participants are responsible of picking up their work within the set time frame. We are not responsible for any loss of work past the one month pick-up period.
