Introduction to Pulp Painting is a basic workshop for beginners in a unique papermaking technique. Pulp painting uses finely beaten pigmented pulp to “paint” on a freshly pulled sheet of paper before the pulp sheets are pressed and dried into paper. 

Participants will first learn how to make a sheet of paper using the pour mould method and then how to work with pulp paints to create interesting textures and shapes. Participants will leave with handmade papers with their own unique works of art and design.

1 day class, 5 hours, 11am - 4pm
