In this one day class you will learn how to make a hand bound journal covered with Kraftex—a fiber-based material that is durable and feels like leather but has workable properties like fabric. You will complete one book in class and have enough materials to make a second one at home. The binding structure is simple enough for a beginner but produces a sophisticated result for special projects.
This workshop will introduce you to beginner level bookbinding skills that can be used in future projects. No previous experience is required.
